Session Description

OpenStack is popularly used as IaaS by many operations team who are tasked to adopt a DevOps pipeline for the new generation of application development where infrastructure automation and on-demand provisioning in a cloud environment is a strong requirement for the developers. NetApp® storage is part of the backend infrastructure that stores and manages data for all the users who consume resources to achieve various business goals and objectives. Puppet manifests help to configure the NFS shares and networking on ONTAP® 9. Deploying OpenStack on cloud environment may be complicated and would require certain skillset to do so. Deploying OpenStack Liberty using RH OSP 8 director reduces a lot of installation and configuration complexity. Apprenda templates are used configure the PaaS layer on OpenStack in a Flexpod.
